THE AVA

The home of Domaine Divio, selected by winemaker Bruno Corneaux as he believes it offers the best terroir from which to make the perfect Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. From the air it appears as an island that has broken off from surrounding landmasses. Willakenzie marine sedimentary soil is relatively uniform throughout the AVA and the lack of underground water limits vigorous vine growth.

THE WINE

Generous and elegantly complex nose of lilac, white pepper, vanilla, tobacco and black tea. Polished mouthfeel of raspberry, rose, licorice and cinnamon that finishes with bright juicy cherries on lush yet refined tannins.
